Jakob Haesler

Jakob is a Paris-based entrepreneur and advisor. He spent the first 11 years of his professional career at McKinsey in Berlin and Paris, where he was one of the founding partners of the French Public Sector/Health practice, and leader of the French Organization and Leadership Practice.

In 2010 he co-founded Tinyclues, a leading AI player in CRM-marketing. Since 2015 he has been an active investor and advisor while also pursuing a new, personal entrepreneurial projects. He has been strongly involved as an investor and advisor in the biotech/dermatology startup Skintifique, and the AI-startup Taktile, since their foundation. He is a recognized expert on Big Data/AI, Technology and Innovation, and was nominated to the expert panel for the first Report on Big Data at the OECD. Since 2015 he has also been acting as a member of the Investment Committee for the funding of Data /IT Infrastructure startups/projects at the European Institute of Technology.

Jakob was nominated one of the 40 under 40 European Young Leaders in 2012/13, and continues to be strongly involved in the European think tank Friends of Europe. Jakob studied at the University of St.Gallen (lic.oec.), the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences- Po) de Paris (non-degree), and obtained an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). He is currently the President of the Harvard Club of France and serves as member of the Global Alumni Advisory Board of the Harvard Kennedy School.
