Iain is a director and co-founder of Profile Investment and heads our legal analysis division. Iain spent his formative years as a disputes lawyer with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and subsequently Latham & Watkins in London and Paris. Prior to founding Profile Investment in 2018 with Alain Grec Iain was general counsel of disputes and subsequently managing director at Vannin Capital. Iain’s specialisms as a lawyer include international commercial and investment treaty arbitration across various sectors including construction, technology, finance and general commercial.

In addition to being a qualified UK solicitor, registered foreign lawyer at the Paris Bar and co-founder of Profile Investment, Iain is a proud founding member of the 2018 legal innovations GAR award winner – Delos Arbitration. Delos is an international arbitration institution specifically designed for small and medium sized businesses and is in the process of opening its first hearing centre in London.

Iain works primarily in English and is proficient in French.
